Our generous 7 oz. bars last approximately 8–10 weeks in the shower. Not simply because of their size, but because they are true cold-process soap made completely from scratch. Sweet Harvest Farms' proprietary formula gently cleanses while leaving skin feeling soft, nourished, and refreshed.

I have had many refer to how we formulate our diaper rash cream as "diaper ointment on steroids"! But we believe, that less is not more, in this case. The more organic and necessary ingredients combined can help soothe and promote healing rather than just a few that do nothing but dry the skin out causing chapping and the flaking of skin.
Sweet Harvest Farms will never use any petroleum or mineral oil derivatives to include lanolin. The occlusive nature of petroleum and mineral oil can create a warm, moist environment for yeast and fungus to grow.
Likewise, we choose not to use Zinc Oxide that is normally found in many cosmetic products to include sunscreen and diaper cream.
Some fear zinc oxide due to the perceived health risks of zinc oxide nano particles entering the bloodstream. However, research as shown zinc oxide particles which are larger than 30nm are not absorbed by the body when used in lotions or creams. We just don't like taking that chance and we choose to use just a tad of 100% pure beeswax to help form a barrier against moisture.

Shea Butter - Shea Butter works as an emollient that softens and hydrates skin. Because it contains several types of fatty acids — including Lineoleic, Oleic, Palmitic and Stearic acids — that help to improve the skin's natural barrier. Shea Butter also protects skin from damage from the environment like pollutants.
Coconut Oil - Is amazing at moisturizing dry skin, including in people with conditions such as eczema. Coconut Oil can also help reduce inflamation and promote wound healing. Coconut Oil also contains antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral properties.
Aloe Vera - Researchers concluded that the use of Aloe Vera as a home remedy for diaper rash was “clearly supported” because of Aloe Vera's anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. We use 99% pure organic Aloe Vera.
Bentonite Clay – Helps absorb bacteria away from the skin. Bentonite is actually one of the most effective and powerful healing clay's. A recent study showed that around 93% of the infants who received the clay had improved rashes within 6 hours, with 90% completely healed in 3 days.
Rose Hip Oil - Has anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
Chamomile Oil - Is known for its wound healing, including sores and inflammation.
Vitamin E- Is of course moisturizing, wound healing and reparative.
Rosemary Extract - A strong antioxidant.
Calendula Oil - Is often used on skin to keep wounds clean and help new tissue to grow, especially when skin is exhibiting signs of tenderness, redness, or inflammation.
Jojoba oil - Is actually a wax ester with almost exact properties to our skin's own sebum. This means the "oil" is able to penetrate deeply, reaching below the top layer of skin for maximum nourishment.
Tea Tree Oil - Tea tree oil contains a number of compounds, including terpinen-4-ol, that have been shown to kill certain bacteria, viruses, and fungi, preventing infection, and promoting healing.
Pure Beeswax - Helps to keep formula melded and unwanted moisture away from skin. We use a pinch of beeswax instead of Zinc Oxide.

How to use: Clean affected area with cool or tepid water using Oh Baby Oh Organic Soap. Gently pat dry area with paper towel and throw towel away. Always apply with clean dry fingers/hands. DO NOT put damp fingers/hands into ointment or put fingers back into ointment to get more ointment without cleaning fingers thoroughly first.
When raising my babies I found that some level of diaper rash, no matter how hard you try, is unavoidable. When this happened I found that after applying the diaper cream and allowing the baby to be without a diaper (free to breath!) for extended periods of time helped hasten healing.

Colloidal Oatmeal - For centuries, colloidal oatmeal has been a salve for itchy, dry, or irritated skin. This natural ingredient is readily found in cosmetic products like moisturizers, shampoos, and shaving creams.
Colloidal oatmeal is made by grinding oat grain, or Avena sativa, into a fine powder. It’s considered an emollient — a substance that softens or soothes the skin — because it packs fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients shown to benefit the skin
In fact, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officially categorized colloidal oatmeal as a skin protectant in 2003.
It also boasts anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that benefit your skin. Antioxidants fight free radicals, which can damage your body through oxidative stress if their numbers become too high. Oxidative Stress is linked to conditions such as inflammation and certain skin diseases like dermatitis. It also affects aging, which can present as a lack of skin elasticity and moisture
One study found that colloidal oatmeal’s unique chemical profile diminishes cytokines, a group of proteins that cause inflammation in your body. These beneficial properties are due to avenanthramides, a group of plant chemicals found in oat kernels. By blocking inflammatory cytokines, avenathramides inhibit the inflammatory response. As such, avenathramides are not only responsible for colloidal oatmeal’s benefits to the skin but also the heart-healthy properties when eaten.
Vitamin E -
“It probably makes moisturizers work better, but it’s unclear in most studies if it has a direct medicinal role,” says Dr. Kassouf. “Its effects are fairly subtle. It doesn’t treat any particular skin condition other than helping a bit with general skin aging and lack of moisture.”
Vitamin E stops skin from losing moisture, protects cells from damage and softens skin.
Vitamin E may also reduce sun damage by absorbing UVB rays and reducing your skin’s inflammatory response, which includes swelling, reddening and thickening.
How to use: Very little is needed. Rub in well. Always use a dry finger. Tallow can actually break outs on some peoples faces. This may go away in time but if it continues past a few weeks it may be better to use it on other parts of your body that need it. We DO NOT use chemicals or preservatives of any kind so keep out of heat. Can place in fridge if you like to extend shelf life.
Choose: Aromas are very light.

A year or so ago, we hinted at the development of Sweet Harvest Farms' own formulation and version of Thieves Oil. The response was overwhelming.

A little history of Thieves Oil-
Thieves oil traces its roots back to the 15th century, originating during the Black Plague by French individuals known as "thieves."
Originally crafted from herbs, it served as an antiseptic, antibacterial,and antimicrobial blend.Legend has it that these "thieves" were initially spice traders and merchants from India and Europe who turned to stealing from plague victims to survive.
To protect themselves from the contagious bodies they encountered, they concocted the original thieves oil using their knowledge of herbs and spices.
Eventually caught by the King, they were given the ultimatum to divulge their recipe or face punishment. Choosing to share their secret, the recipe for thieves oil spread, becoming a staple in many households today.
Like Thieves oil, our Ministry is a blend of various essential oils, typically including cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, lemon, and rosemary. It's believed to offer benefits such as immune support and infection fighting properties. However, research on thieves oil itself is limited, with more extensive studies conducted on the individual oils within the blend.
For example, cinnamon and clove oils have shown antimicrobial activity against bacteria, while eucalyptus oil has been studied for wound healing properties and potential pain relief. Lemon oil also exhibits some antimicrobial effects, and rosemary oil may have stimulating effects on mood.
Sweet Harvest Farms has also added Oregano Oil as it’s been scientifically proven Carvacrol, the primary active component in Oregano Oil, effectively kills norovirus, a common cause of food-borne illness in hospitals, schools, and cruise ships. The compound works by breaking down the tough outer coat of the virus, which is the leading cause of vomiting and diarrhea around the world

If you are an Coconut or Lime lover then this is for you! This soap offers a nice exfoliate and, like all of S.H. Farms soaps, that rich creamy lather you have come to love. The Coconut Lime aroma is just right and will make you think you are bathing to a Jimmy Buffett song! Reminds me of strolling on a beautiful beach somewhere exotic.

This was actually one of the first bars of soap I made! My daughter knew I was researching on how to make soap and asked me to do something for my granddaughter who was just a baby at the time. Since I had 24!yrs medical experience she knew I may be able to formulate something to help calm her skin which was so covered with Eczema that she was scratching until she bled!
Our No More Eczema bar worked and it remains one of our most popular products still.
Crushed Oatmeal within and sprinkled with Oatmeal on top. (Flaxseed Oil is highly recommended, by the American Medical Association and Herbalist as well, for the treatment of Eczema and Psoriasis) There is no color or scent in this soap.
Remember when treating Eczema to always "pat" dry after a shower/bath - never rub.
Note: We do not claim that this soap will cure any skin ailments but many of our customers claim to see a marked improvement in their skin after a very short time.

Rosemary Mint Organic Handmade Soap
Crushed dried Rosemary within and sprinkled on top this soap actually smells like an After Hours Mint, even though there is no chocolate!! This is absolutely delightful to use first thing in the morning! A great way to start the day! Yummy! If you like fresh Mint or Rosemary you will love this one!
NOTE: Even though there is negligible amounts of Rosemary in this soap, it is still suggested that if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, you should avoid using any product that contain Rosemary.
