Why we don’t whip our Tallow - While whipped tallow may appear more appealing due to its light, fluffy texture, most experts argue that unwhipped tallow is generally considered better in terms of its effectiveness and longevity because the whipping process introduces air, which can lead to faster oxidation and a reduced shelf life of the product; essentially making it less potent over time.

In fact, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officially categorized colloidal oatmeal as a skin protectant in 2003.

It also boasts anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that benefit your skin. Vitamin E -

How to use: Very little is needed. Rub in well. Always use a dry finger. Tallow can actually break outs on some peoples faces. This may go away in time but if it continues past a few weeks it may be better to use it on other parts of your body that need it. We DO NOT use chemicals or preservatives of any kind so keep out of heat. Can place in fridge if you like to extend shelf life.

A year or so ago, we hinted at the development of Sweet Harvest Farms' own formulation and version of Thieves Oil. The response was overwhelming.

We are now thrilled to announce its expansion to include our soap and lotion line! We're excited about this development and hope you are too.

Sweet Harvest Farms remains the sole provider of these exceptional remedial food Grade A essential oils in such a comprehensive range.

A little history of Thieves Oil-

Thieves oil traces its roots back to the 15th century, originating during the Black Plague by French individuals known as "thieves."

Originally crafted from herbs, it served as an antiseptic, antibacterial,and antimicrobial blend.Legend has it that these "thieves" were initially spice traders and merchants from India and Europe who turned to stealing from plague victims to survive.

To protect themselves from the contagious bodies they encountered, they concocted the original thieves oil using their knowledge of herbs and spices.

Eventually caught by the King, they were given the ultimatum to divulge their recipe or face punishment. Choosing to share their secret, the recipe for thieves oil spread, becoming a staple in many households today.

Like Thieves oil, our Ministry is a blend of various essential oils, typically including cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, lemon, and rosemary. It's believed to offer benefits such as immune support and infection fighting properties. However, research on thieves oil itself is limited, with more extensive studies conducted on the individual oils within the blend.

For example, cinnamon and clove oils have shown antimicrobial activity against bacteria, while eucalyptus oil has been studied for wound healing properties and potential pain relief. Lemon oil also exhibits some antimicrobial effects, and rosemary oil may have stimulating effects on mood.

This was actually one of the first bars of soap I made! My daughter knew I was researching on how to make soap and asked me to do something for my granddaughter who was just a baby at the time. Since I had 24!yrs medical experience she knew I may be able to formulate something to help calm her skin which was so covered with Eczema that she was scratching until she bled!

Our No More Eczema bar worked and it remains one of our most popular products still.

Crushed Oatmeal within and sprinkled with Oatmeal on top. (Flaxseed Oil is highly recommended, by the American Medical Association and Herbalist as well, for the treatment of Eczema and Psoriasis) There is no color or scent in this soap.

Remember when treating Eczema to always "pat" dry after a shower/bath - never rub.

Note: We do not claim that this soap will cure any skin ailments but many of our customers claim to see a marked improvement in their skin after a very short time.

Large 7 oz. Bar will last approximately 8-10 weeks in the shower! Not because of it's size, but because this is a true soap. Our formula leaves your skin both soft and squeaky clean. If your "soap" leaves a film in your shower it is doing the same to your skin and is most likely made from a base or melt and pour! Yuk!

It's also diluted and applied topically to help alleviate symptoms of coughs, colds, and other respiratory issues. However, it's essential to use caution when using essential oils, especially undiluted or on sensitive skin.

Unlike other Thieves oil brands, our Ministry Oil is NOT CUT with anything. It is pure food and/or therapeutic grade essential oil so you cannot take this internally without first mixing with a carrier oil.

IMPORTANT -

Carrier Oil

Always blend only a 10-12 drops of the Ministry oil per 2 ounces of a carrier oil such as coconut oil, almond oil or jojoba before applying to the skin. Never use Ministry Oil on its own - you always need to combine it with a carrier oil first.

Never apply directly to the skin (as mentioned above), as any essential oil blend can cause irritation, redness, or itchiness. Children should not use Ministry oil, and caregivers should store it out of reach of children and pets. Also, people should never swallow Ministry oil, especially without a carrier oil as some essential oils can be toxic

The Pure Pit Balm is a natural deodorant made with all certified organic ingredients created with a proprietary recipe developed by the Sweet Harvest Farms owner who has 24 years medical experience.

Made with organic Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Kaolin Clay, Magnesium Hyrdroxide, Arrow Root, a pinch of Bees Wax, Vitamin E (Non-GMO), with Tea Tree, Rosemary, Lavender and Lemon essential oils and Pro-Biotic.

Very little is needed! Just a tiny dab on your finger is enough to last all day! Apply and let absorb a bit before getting dressed. I use about a dime size on my finger - that’s it!
